Jewelry artist and designer Rachel Vanatta resides on Anna Maria Island in Florida. After graduating from Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Metals and Jewelry, Rachel set out to establish her jewelry design company, Nectar Jewelry. Rachel and her artist husband also own a gallery/storefront called The Hive Creations where they show and sell their pieces. Being inspired by the ocean, nature, and a warm, tropical atmoshpere, Rachel felt there was no other option but to create and start her jewelry business in this sunny, Florida environment, an extreme change compared to the northern Ohio climate she was born and raised in.
